ROXIN associate Liv Hansen has successfully completed training to become a Certified Fraud Examiner/CFE. This recognition is awarded by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s leading anti-fraud organization and largest provider of anti-fraud training, after passing a rigorous professional examination.

In the final exam for the CFE certificate, Liv Hansen had to demonstrate special expertise in the prevention, detection, deterrence and investigation of fraud cases. Examination elements were in particular:

• examine data and records to detect and trace fraudulent transactions
• interview suspects to obtain information and confessions
• write investigation reports
• advise clients as to their findings
• testify at trial
• understand the law as it relates to fraud and fraud investigations
• identify the underlying factors that motivate individuals to commit fraud.
