It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to Prof. em. Dr. jur. Dr. h.c. mult. Claus Roxin (* May 15, 1931, in Hamburg; † February 18, 2025).

His influence on legal science, particularly in shaping modern criminal law, is immeasurable and will continue to inspire generations of legal scholars and practitioners.

We are grateful for his life’s work and the pioneering contributions he has left behind.
