Three Recent Rankings Recognize the Work of ROXIN Rechtsanwälte

In the latest 2026 JUVE ranking for white-collar and tax criminal law, ROXIN is recognized in all three categories: white-collar criminal defense for individuals, corporate criminal defense, and criminal tax law.

Dr. Oliver Sahan, Dr. Johannes Altenburg, and Dr. Ramona Höft are also listed among the frequently recommended lawyers.

Our partner Dr. Ramona Höft is recognized as a “Rising Star 2026.” She is also highlighted as a frequently recommended lawyer in the field of criminal tax law. Her recognition is further underscored by a market participant quoted by JUVE, who described Dr. Höft as “an authority in criminal tax law.”

Dr. Johannes Altenburg was named a TOP Lawyer for Criminal Law in the latest 2026 FOCUS Recht & Rat ranking.

ROXIN has also received recognition in the latest F.A.Z. Institut “TOP Lawyer 2027” ranking. Five ROXIN lawyers were recognized in the field of white-collar and tax criminal law: Dr. Oliver Sahan, Dr. Johannes Altenburg, Dr. Ramona Höft, Dr. Sascha Knaupe, and Dr. Mika Kremer.

WirtschaftsWoche has once again named ROXIN among Germany’s leading and recommended law firms in the field of criminal law in 2026. This year’s ranking places particular emphasis on matters in which employment-related disputes may also give rise to criminal law risks for companies and executives.

The accompanying WirtschaftsWoche article “Mit harten Bandagen” examines current developments and challenges in legal practice and highlights the law firms and attorneys that are particularly recommended in the areas of law covered by the ranking.

Employment disputes are by no means always confined to the labor courts. Allegations involving compliance violations, internal investigations, or the conduct of executives can quickly also result in criminal law implications. For companies and individuals in positions of responsibility, early and interdisciplinary legal advice is therefore particularly important.

Against this backdrop, WirtschaftsWoche has published its latest 2026 law firm ranking. ROXIN is once again listed as a recommended firm in the field of criminal law. In addition, our partners Dr. Oliver Sahan, Dr. Johannes Altenburg, Dr. Ramona Höft, and our Counsel Dr. Mika Kremer were each named particularly recommended lawyers.

The recognition reflects the firm’s continued work at the intersection of criminal law, white-collar criminal law, and corporate disputes. Particularly in complex matters involving multiple areas of law, experience, strategic advice, and a precise assessment of potential personal and commercial risks are essential.

The Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) first identified major law firms, mid-sized firms, specialized boutiques, and solo practitioners active in Germany. More than 26,000 lawyers were then invited to participate in the survey and asked to recommend the five most highly regarded law firms and lawyers in each of the legal fields examined.

The hottest day of the year. Six law firms. Plenty of team spirit — and a great cause! The ROXIN Cup 2026 was a tournament we will not soon forget.

With the proceeds, we are once again supporting Team Bananenflanke Itzehoe e.V., an organization that gives children and young people with disabilities the opportunity to play soccer, be part of a team, and experience community.

With temperatures around 42°C on the sidelines,

showed that athletic ambition and collegial spirit go perfectly hand in hand.

The final could hardly have been more exciting: defending champion GSK Stockmann faced tournament newcomer CHATHAM PARTNERS.

After a draw, the match was decided by a penalty shootout — with CHATHAM PARTNERS coming out on top. Congratulations on winning the tournament! 🏆

This year, we once again played in support of Team Bananenflanke Itzehoe e.V. The tournament raised an even higher donation amount than last year.

The organization enables children and young people with disabilities to play soccer as part of a team and experience a sense of community. Last year’s tournament donations were used, among other things, for tournament trips, equipment, and club events. We are delighted to continue supporting the outstanding work of Team Bananenflanke e.V.

Together, we show that team spirit reaches far beyond the field.

On 30 May 2026, ROXIN participated in the HafenCity Run in Hamburg for the first time. Colleagues, together with their families, took to the route through HafenCity.

The HafenCity Run is one of the established corporate and charity runs in Northern Germany. The event combines physical activity with a charitable purpose and places the focus not on sporting competition, but on taking part together.

For ROXIN, participating for the first time offered a good opportunity to come together outside the everyday law firm routine while also supporting the charitable purpose of the event. The route through HafenCity provided a fitting setting.

We would like to thank the organisers for the successful running of the event as well as all participants who represented ROXIN on the day.

On November 8, 2025, this year’s Bucerius Alumni Dinner took place at the Grand Elysée Hotel in Hamburg. More than 400 graduates of Bucerius Law School Hamburg came together to celebrate and reconnect in an elegant setting, enjoying dinner, a charity raffle, and an afterparty.

We were delighted to participate as a partner of this special event and to support the evening. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage with alumni, colleagues, and friends, and to experience the vibrant Bucerius network in person.
